A big part of our full contact approach at Harmonic Media is to consult and collaborate with our clients to determine the best approach to an idea. Working alongside creative teams that bring us in on the front end to discuss potential projects always results in amazing executions. Denver International Airport (DIA) wanted a way to celebrate their upcoming 20th anniversary, which also lead up to a re-branding of the airports identity, and came to us with a really cool project. The idea was to showcase our wonderful city of Denver and everything Colorado has to offer visually in our vast outdoors. We were asked to fabricate life–sized postcards that attracted its huge amount of daily passengers and gave them an opportunity to interact with the faux scenery, snap a photo, and post it to social media. We created these unique, custom fabricated, environments using large format dye-sub backdrops on a frame system with some hero shots of Colorado as a background. Then we added several types of props including Aspen Trees, Canoes, Boulders, Snow Drifts, and even a real Ski Lift from Colorado’s own Loveland Ski Resort. Check out hashtag #DEN20 on social media for some interactive shots. This campaign was, and still is, a huge success!
